las wek ML helps en.s setup kiosk kt Pej.Tnh KL. Klu xsilap ari jumaat(21 Feb 08) en.s & farid g dlu nek motor..save budget woo.. hee.. aku menyusul kemudian.. lewat skit aku mai pej.tnh KL ari tu.. hee.. so ari tu pye task ML kne bantu dr segi setup kiosk.. mula-mula tu wat transfer file ke server.. so nti kiosk tu kte direct access jea ke server yg Pej.Tnh bg..that server just temp pye laa.. dorg still ngan PNC yg kadang-kadang tu de la Pros & Cons dlm hal ni..

tup tap tup tap mse berlalu dgn pantas rpenye dh nk solat jumaat.. mse tu ktorg still tgh setup kt kiosk.. lgpn dorg dh bg IP bg server temp & kiosk(kiosk tu dtg 2 buah tp yg pelik dorg bg satu IP jea.. aku pn tye farid pe mslh dorg n xkn nk test pn nk berkire ngan IP yg sememangnye free..huuu.. myb that one prosedur dorg..itu aku xtau).. so mse tu ktorg test network dorg rse problem jea coz ktorg xleh langsung nk PING ke IP server temp dorg tu.. dh la mse suntuk plus prob mcm ni rse bengang pn de mse tu.. tp ari jumaat beb kne bersabar.. sabar satu dari iman.. :-)

so pendek kn citer ktorg g solat jumaat dlu kt masjid Negara.. lps solat bergegas pulang ke lokasi pej.tnh KL. ktorg continue wat setup kiosk sambil dibantu oleh 1 org IT depa.. member tu help ktorg dlm configure network kiosk ni.. setting pye setting still xleh settel prob ni.. letih wooo.. petang b4 ktorg smua nk lik bru muncul network admin depa.. new hope myb.. hee.. so network admin ni pn try config kn prob yg ktorg alami ni.. so ktorg ML & en.s plan yg mne aku stay lme skit coz dorg kne lik ke opis csc nk amik file coz nti opis tutup dh la file smua kt dlm pc opis.. so kne update file lg 4 2moro kt pej.tnh KL...

mse aku tgu network admin settel kn prob ni.. aku pn tye pe msalah yg dorg tgh hadapi ni.. so mbr tu pn bgtau yg ari ni network dorg tgh down..so that why ktorg mmg xleh setel nk configure network bg kiosk n.. selang 15min lps tu network admin tu pn bgtau kat aku yg dia surrender.. xleh nk settel prob. ni.. so hasilnye leh la aku lik awl ptg ni.. awal pn xla awal sgt 5.30 jgk la.. huuu.. so dpt la idea bru.. aku bgtau network admin kte bawak jea trun server temp ni esok.. kte sorok kt tepi bilik kecik ni.. so nti kte gne hub smbg trus ke kiosk xyh nk masuk gne dorg pye network senang citer.. mbr tu pn agree jgk coz no option lgpn KSU depa nk rasmi isnin ni..

keesokan hari nye, aku n farid g pej.tnh again. so mula-mula tu aku setel bwk trun server tu & setup trus kt bwh level G. alhamdulillah selesai semua prob yg smlm ktorg alami.. kali ni keje ktorg mudah laaa.. lega beb.. yahoo.. google.. heee.. ktorg selesai transfer & setting pe yg patut around kul 1.30tgh hari..

First of all, so sorry for not updating this blog for weeks. Second for not giving weekly updates as I promise before... bz working every day, at nite busy with family matter, weekend bz with friends. so past few weeks is very tiring weeks for me. Btw, thanx Syam for covering me up ;)

Pejabat TNH: Project is on, PO (Purchase order) dh dpt, Alhamdulillah.. not a big one, xsmpai pun 100K, but still bersyukur. Almost 80-90% done

company BNS: Last week Syam sakit mata, so xdpt meeting... will be done in this week. Most probably this coming Friday.

New one, company KRF: They want us to provide maintenance services to their hardware. Currently working up with proposal package to them.

baru-baru ni partner aku dpt contact dr member lame high school(klu univ org pgl high school kn, aku pn dh lupa la).. mbr dier bgtau ttg 1 project ttg hardware + application if i not mistaken laaa.. hee.. so leh dikatekan ML berminat jgk.. tp yg menjadi 1 problem kalu ML ceburi bidang hardware n software ni adalah melibatkan cost yg hampir pasti ML mmg tgh xde duit.. :-) ML tgh keep it slow making the progress.. lpstu mbr partner aku n pn bg contact so ML kne la trus deal ngan org yg incharge this matter..

matter yg len mbr partner aku ni bgtau ttg application (reg sist). that one bg ML ok la.. coz ktorg mula ceburi biz ni dgn develop application.. lgpn dr cn ktorg leh gain more experience ttg ilmu yg telah dipelajari semasa study dlu.. hee.. leh gune pakai jgk mse development project.. so far byk jgk new knowledge yg dpt dipelajari mse run biz muda2 ni.. mende len yg nk bgtau ML dh de paling tidak pn konsep reg sist tu hampir sama ngan yg mbr partner aku mintak tu.. this one lps ML deal ngan hardware dlu..

selang 3 hari lps tu aku pn call org tu.. hasil dr maklumat ku terima sedikit muskil jgkla yea la mne tak dorg suruh aku fix dorg pye printer.. aku mse tu rse mcm kelakar jgk xkn dorg xde budget nk kuar beli jea printer baru yg mahal gler lps tu problem dorg msti solve pye la.. hee.. lgpn aku ni klu g sne mne aku reti nk fix printer.. klu supply bru nti de warranty 1 year dr pembekal ex: canon ke HP ke.. kn sng kje ML lps tu.. lgpn klu ktorg andai kate dpt la fix problem printer dorg aku n mne reti nk letak charge berapa klu this matter la.. xpenah ML deal lg ngan problem mcm ni.. rse dugaan ni beb.. hee.. tp aku bgtau org tu yg ML akan jpe around nxwek myb paling awl monday.. hee.. ari n pn dh monday.. aku pn tgh deal ngan mbr aku yg sorg ni lgpn mbr aku n de experience psl hardware.. gelak aku skang n coz klu aku g sorg2 jea mne aku reti nk fix problem tu.. klu nk discuss psl develop project len la.. reti jgk aku skit2.. heee :-)

last week aku berjumpa dgn wakil from BNS atas urusan biz talk.. aku berurusan di opis a.k.a bilik server BNS.. hasil dari penerangan & perbincangan antara aku n (z**r n en.h**mi - depa n org BNS) dptla dirumuskan disini..

* yg n rumit skit coz dorg pye content yg sedia ada dlm website lme mmg overload, so kne more creativity on how we produce new design & structured bru n.
* hasil dr perbincangan aku , farid & z**r las friday nite ML akan provide new framework bg pihak BNS.. so dr segi pricing ktorg still finding the best solution..

2. long term network - pe yg dpt dirumuskn oleh aku disini ML akan lebih ramai client if we can grab this project if our coming proposal was agree by them. of course BNS adalah big company so the reputation yg ML akan perolehi since this oppurtunity will make us being known outside , i hope so..

Infancy Company

Semalam hari wilayah... people cuti, but kami tetap kerja...
Sabtu Ahad orang rehat, kdg2 kami kena keje gak...
Malam orang tdo... kdg2 kami xtdo, buat keje utk mengejar duedate...
Kalau kami xbuat kerja, siapa lagi nk buat...
Itulah 'Infancy Company' - The owner and the business are one and the same thing.

Teori ni aku baca dari buku The E-Myth Revisited, penulis Michael E. Gerber, and so far aku setuju dgn apa dia tulis dlm tu. So aku saje nk share ngan korang. Kata beliau, ada 3 fasa pembangunan perniagaan yg mesti dilalui sblm berjaya (aku rasa utk syarikat yg bermula dgn Entrepreneurship je kot): Infancy, Adolescence, dan Maturity.

Macam yg aku tulis kt atas, bisnes dan pemiliknya ialah satu dan benda yg sama, itulah syarikat Infancy company. Bila kita buat job atau service dgn baik, clients akan ingat nama kita, clients akan ingat nama syarikat kita. Mereka percaya kualiti kerja kita. Clients akan makin ramai dan makin ramai, hasil pengiklanan mulut ke mulut. Pemilik syarikat akan gembira sbb ada job, and job makin byk... client equal to money!

Tapi bila job makin banyak, dari hari2 biasa bekerja sepuluh jam sehari, dh kena kerja 12 jam sehari. dari 12 jam kena kerja 14 jam sehari... 14 jam ke 16 jam dan waktu tu, kerja makin tak terbuat, dan kualiti kerja semakin berkurangan... waktu tu, client akan mula bising, masalah akan melanda... client is no more equal to money, client equal to problems!

Ini lah yg aku sedang risau kan sekarang... situasi ML sekarang, job semakin byk. Di ML sekarang, client is still equal to money. But aku jangkakan xlama bfore ML menghadapi masalah 'clients equal to problems', dan aku tgh fikirkan cara utk mengatasinya. Dalam otak aku sekarang hanya ada satu solution, iaitu melompat kan syarikat ke fasa Adolescence secepat mungkin, walaupun tetap berisiko.

Fasa Adolescence bermula apabila pemilik syarikat membuat keputusan utk mendapatkan bantuan dari sudut teknikal, iaitu dengan mengambil pekerja pertama mereka. Risiko melompat ke peringkat ini ialah sekiranya selepas mengambil pekerja, jobs dan clients semakin berkurang instead semakin bertambah and company xde duit nk bayar gaji mereka

Tak dinafikan, di peringkat Adolescence pun akan ada masalah yg lebih besar akan dihadapi, yg mana kesan dan risikonya lebih tinggi  pada syarikat. Antaranya:

1. Syarikat mengecil dan menjadi Infancy again... and possible to be Infancy forever
2. Syarikat Bankrupt trus...
3. Syarikat berada di fasa Adolescence selamanya..

Tapi aku xnak cerita detail pasal Adolescence sbb ML pun belum sampai ke tahap itu lagi. Kalau nk tau, either korang leh dptkan buku ni dr kedai buku berhampiran atau korang boleh tunggu ML smpai di tahap itu... dan itu adalah PASTI!
